Practical Applications of STAR-CCM+, from Terrestrial to Martian – San Diego, CA
ATA is hosting a complimentary social-hour networking event at our San Diego headquarters where you will learn how to accelerate the pace of innovation through the application of advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools. Hear from two members of our industry-leading CFD team who are successfully leveraging STAR-CCM+ to tackle engineering challenges far beyond the limits of our own atmosphere, and connect with peers and colleagues in your industry.
We are pleased to have ATA’s Dr. Tim Palmer and Dr. Parthiv Shah presenting an overview and demonstration of STAR-CCM+ capabilities, followed by a case study of how ATA supported JPL using STAR-CCM+ on a project related to the Fluid Mechanical Particle Barrier (FMPB) for the prevention of sample contamination on the Mars 2020 mission. Whether you are new to CFD or an experienced analyst, this is an event that you won’t want to miss!
Who Should Attend?
This event is perfect for engineers, designers, and engineering leadership. Whether or not you currently use CFD tools, you will learn about approaches and results relevant to your day-to-day work. This event will show you how you can meet your design and analysis requirements by taking advantage of the most advanced CFD simulation tool available today.
There is no cost for this gathering, but registration is required as spaces are limited. Light refreshments will be served.
