Introduction to Finite Element Analysis with Simcenter Pre/Post (NAS111)
The Introduction to Finite Element Analysis with Simcenter Pre/Post course is a 3 day introductory course for static finite element structural analysis using Simcenter Nastran.
The course is designed to teach Simcenter Nastran independent of pre- and post- processors. However, additional material is available for demonstration of use with Simcenter. It is intended for analysts who want to learn the details of how to perform static structural analysis using Simcenter Nastran.
The course covers the details of the structural analysis processes to define loads and boundary conditions, FEA model checking and solving, and interpreting the results. This course also covers Simcenter Nastran deck format, executive section, Case control, Output control, and common element uses and limitations.
This course does not cover any topics of Simcenter 3D. For information on Simcenter 3D training options, please contact ATA or refer to the Simcenter 3D classes (specifically TR15020) available directly from Siemens at https://training.plm.automation.siemens.com/courses/ilt_list.cfm.
This class will be held in our Rocky Mountain Office in Lakewood, Colorado.
